Spanish River Resort and Campground Policy,  Rules and Code of Conduct

The Spanish River Resort and Campground requires all customers/patrons and their guests wishing to use the Resort, Campground and facilities and/or any services, including docking and launching, agree to follow the Resort policies, rules, and ​Code of Conduct while using and/or on these premisses. 

​As our Resort fosters a family friendly atmosphere for all customers/patrons and their guests as well as staff, any rude, disorderly, belligerent or threatening behavior will not be tolerated. Any individuals not respecting the rules or others at the Resort and Campground will be evicted without refund. The instigating persons will be reported and banned from further use of the property.

• All areas on the Resort premises are “Use at your own risk”. The campground, park and marina may have slippery, wet or uneven ground/dock conditions. Please watch, walk and act accordingly.
• Waterfront areas are unsupervised, including swim areas. All are “Use at your own Risk”. Use Caution as some areas have DEEP WATER or CURRENTS not suitable for young children and/or poor swimmers.
• Parental supervision is required for anyone under 16 years of age while on the premises.
• All Patrons, and their guests, of the Campground and Resort must Sign-In at the Office.
• As listed on the website, each campsite, RV, and trailer site is for 2 adults and 2 children. There is a charge for any additional persons in the group staying over.
• Only 1 trailer or 1 tent allowed per site, unless otherwise agreed to by SRRC.
• Campground quiet hours are from 10pm - 8am
• Campground and Resort visiting hours are 10am - 10pm, visitors must be signed in.
• All parking for cars, trucks, quads, RVs boats, trailers or otherwise must be in designated areas only.
• Dog fees apply to all patrons and visitors. Dogs must be on-leash at all times. Owners are responsible for all Poopand-scoop activities.
• No smoking or dogs allowed in the cabins or washrooms.
• No glass allowed off designated campsite or boat areas.
• No loud/disruptive music/activities or parties allowed at any time without prior Resort approval.
• Registered Cabin/camp and RV site/boat slip patrons; are responsible for their guests at all times including liability for any damages or unruly behaviour they cause or exhibit.
• Theft, sabotage or mischief of any kind will not be tolerated and names of persons involved will be forwarded to local authorities without question.
• Dumping or burning of waste/garbage of any kind is prohibited. This includes “grey” or “black water”. Please use designated garbage, recycling and dumping areas.
• No mechanical work on boats at docks allowed except battery charging or pumping.
• No chainsaws or mechanical saws permitted other than for Resort and Park use or with permission.
• Fires are to be kept in designated firepit areas, when permitted by Ontario legislation.
• Physical property; picnic tables, docks, signs, plants are not to be moved without prior approval.
• All Park patrons and guests are responsible for placing their garbage in the provided receptacles.
• Fish cleaning station must be cleaned by each fisherman after each use.
• Resort patrons are responsible for all/any damage caused to premises or rental property.
• Damage or known problems of any kind must be reported to the Resort Office immediately.
• Check-in time is 1pm - 9pm for Cabins and RVs, Trailers and Campsites, unless previously arranged.
• Check-out time is 10am for Cabins and RVs, Trailers and Campsites, unless previously arranged.
• Spanish River Resort has permission to use any/all pictures taken on the property with guests and Patrons as they see fit, unless otherwise explicitly instructed by letter or email otherwise not to.
• All payments are required at or before Check-in date and time.
• No selling of firewood, bait, and/or equipment without prior Resort approval.
• Campground/Resort rules subject to change as needed without notice and will be posted in the Office/Visitor information centre.
• No refunds for reasons of inclement weather, power failure or water main break.
