Jigging For Giants - Spring 2026

Our Jigging For Giants Walleye fishing derby is back this Spring, better than ever!

This year it will be Zone 14 wide meaning you can get your derby card and fish anywhere in zone 14. That's right from Sault Saint Marie to Spanish Ontario...you can catch and win.

Derby cards will be available at our sponsors locations, see below. Once you have your card please call or email us to register and pay. We will give you your Derby number at that time,
All fish entered must be released 

The derby dates are May 9 th and 10th. The entry fee is $50 (plus tax) per day, per person. You can fish 1 day or both, no limit of number of people in your boat, as long as its legal. However, all people in the boat must be registered.

Arrive early and stay in a cabin, your Rv or a camp site. Pre-derby fishing prizes also available for those looking to fish a few days earlier to get to know the area. Cabins, RV sites and camp sites available. Click here to book now.

Rules:
1. All participants must sign waivers and paid prior to event
2. All persons in the boat must be registered
3. All persons must obey legal fish limits, boating rules, alcohol laws (dry event no alcohol allowed in boat)
4. Fish must be entered via a picture of the live legal Walleye, on your bump board, with derby card name and number clearly visible.
5. Fish entered must be released immediately after
6. Participants agree to enter willingly, and to allow event officials to inspect the boat before and after
7. Any non-sportsman like conduct will result in ejection of the event with no refund
8. Any alcohol in the boat will result in ejection from the event, forfeit any prizes, no refund
9.  All entered fish pics must be sent before derby finish time. Any late entries will not be valid

How to register:
1. Pickup your derby card from 1 of our sponsors
2. Register online - email us at [email protected] with your names, address, phone number and # of people in your fishing party.
3. Pay the $50 per person plus tax/day

4. email or call for your derby number
 and call 705 626 8183 to get your derby number

5. Call us to register and pickup and pay at the derby

Book your Cabin, RV site or campsite and pre-fish before the derby and be entered for the Pre-Derby prizes!
