Included at our property is a private beach, boat launch, kids play areas and structures as well as access to fishing zones 10 and 14. We are only 1 km off the Trans Canada 17 HWY in the Town of Spanish and right on the waters of Lake Huron. Relax in one of our cabins or book a Rv site in our campground. Here you will find both a fisherman's heaven as well as an outdoor playground for kids and families that includes; swim area, beach volleyball, tree houses, dock fishing, canoe, kayak and standup paddle board rentals. For those that need to work...we also have great WiFi!

To find us we are a short 65 minutes West of Sudbury, and a little over 2 hours East of Sault Saint Marie.
Some call it the middle of nowhere, we call it Paradise.

About US

We are continuing the Mitchells' family Camp tradition and run the Spanish River Resort & Campground with the same appreciation for the outdoors and love for fishing!

We have expanded to include; more dock space, motorboat and canoe/kayak rentals, a swimming area and kiteboard lessons.

We take pride in our clean cabins, organized campground and family friendly atmosphere. We welcome you to stop in to fish and meet us.

Booking and Reservations

The Spanish River Resort and Campground is a special place with some of the best fishing in all Ontario, but space is limited.

As those that have stayed here before already know...its best to book early if you wish to guarantee a Cabin, Ca mp Site or Boat Slip.

FYI...during High Season cabins are booked week to week, from Sunday to Sunday. While camp/RV sites are minimum 2 nights to make a reservation. We do have transient spots for those passing through but these are first come first served.

Please email us and book early to avoid disappointment.
